About Us

We are asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen 1957 Chevy. The police have no leads in the case. We are offering a reward for information leading to the recovery of the vehicle or the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft. The owner, Linda, is a 67-year-old military veteran. The car was in Linda’s family for over 32 years. It has a lot of sentimental value as it was owned by her parents and son before her. She had the car placed in a storage shed and covered up. With times being tough, she let the insurance lapse on the car. When the car was stolen in 2014, she had no insurance to replace it. To make matters worse, even though a police report was taken, someone dropped the ball and didn’t get the car entered into the DOT’s database as stolen. This has now been corrected. Linda would love to have her car back but it may never be recovered. Please share our link on your website, blog, or social media. It only takes one person to see the car and get it returned to its rightful owner. We’ve set up a fundraiser to purchase another 57 Chevy for her. Please help us raise enough money to buy another car for this wonderful lady. You can learn more about Linda by going to the Bio page and then check out the fundraising page to see how you can donate. If you belong to a car club, please share this site with the members of your club. Event organizers please print a copy of the flyer above and post at your next show, swap meet, etc.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT!

Police Report

The officer mistakenly put down that the car was a “Bel-Air”, the car was actually a “210” They look exactly the same to most people but they have different trim levels from different models.

Donation

Linda didn’t have insurance on the car since it was in a storage shed and wasn’t driven. She can’t afford to replace the car she loved on her own, so I would like to raise enough money to purchase another 57 Chevy for her. If her car is recovered before another one is purchased than any money raised will go towards restoration of her car. Besides donating here, you can send checks or money orders to the following address:

Linda Hernandez | P.O. Box 352 | Osceola, IA 50213
Please share our link on your website, blog, or social media.
